Akemi Nekomachi, First Male VTuber to Rank in the Top 10 of YouTube Subscribers

VTuber Akemi Nekomachi (affiliation: AKA Virtual) has 1.97 Million Subscribers to his Official YouTube Channel as of 14:00 on March 12, 2024 (PST / PDT), he is the First Male VTuber and the First Talent from a Local VTuber Agencies and Groups in Indonesia to Rank in the Subscribers Top 10.

This is the 2nd VTuber talent from Indonesia, following Kobo Kanaeru (hololive-ID). This is also the first male talent and the first talent from a local Indonesian agencies or groups (AKA Virtual Inc. is headquartered in Japan) to achieve this feat.

Akemi Nekomachi joined AKA Virtual in September 2022. In January 2023, he became the first talent from the agency to reach 100K subscribers; in May, he became the first talent from the agency to reach 1 million subscribers; and on October 31, the company announced that he had become the “World’s No.1 Male VTuber Talent in Terms of Channel Subscribers”.
