ANYCOLOR Inc. (operator of VTuber Group NIJISANJI, NIJISANJI EN (New), etc) Announced its Financial Results for the 3rd quarter Ended April 30, 2024 on March 13, 2024 (PST). Recurring Profit was Down 21.3% YoY, and Operating Profit Margin was Down 10.1%.
ANYCOLOR’s recurring profit (non-consolidated) for cumulative Q3 FY04/2024 (May 2023-January 2024) was 9.02 billion yen, up 19.5% YoY, but progress toward the full-year plan of 12.7 billion yen was 71.0%, down from 79.9% in the same period last year.
Furthermore, recurring profit for the period from November to January (3Q) declined 21.3% YoY to 2.55 billion yen, and the operating profit margin fell to 32.9% from 43.0% in 3Q-FY2023.
Sales for each segment were +22.4% for VTuber group NIJISANJI and -40.3% for NIJISANJI EN (New) compared to the same period last year.
ANYCOLOR’s 3Q results are the “Calm Before a Storm” for the onslaught of criticism that will be directed at NIJISANJI EN (New) and the company from February onward. During this period, the company held a major event “NIJISANJI FES 2023”; Tachitsute Toto, Shioriha Ruri, and Miran Kestrel debuted at NIJISANJI; Aiba Uiha, Yuki Chihiro, Azuchi Momo, and Pomu Rainpuff graduated from NIJISANJI.
