As of October 9, 2023 (PST), 1 Month has Passed since the Debut of the Music Artist Group “ReGLOSS” from hololive DEV_IS, a Group Affiliated with COVER Corporation’s VTuber Agency hololive Production.

hololive DEV_IS is a VTuber group newly established by hololive Production as “A VTuber Group that will Pursue Vigorous Unit Activities with the theme of ‘Growth’ and ‘Challenge’ beyond the Framework of Conventional VTubers.” ReGLOSS is a group of music artists affiliating to the group, consisting of 5 members: Hiodoshi Ao, Otonose Kanade, Ichijou Ririka, Juufuutei Raden, and Todoroki Hajime.
They have a different character than the holomen (hololive Production’s talent) of the past, also their energetic attitude toward daily streaming activities is a breath of fresh air not only for hololive Production, but for VTuber industry as a whole.
As of 9pm on October 9 (PST / PDT), the 5 talents of ReGLOSS have a total of approx. 1.01 million subscribers on YouTube. They are not part of the Japanese female group “hololive,” but rather a new group, a challenging group with a different character than the previous hololive Production. There was also the headwind of a decline in the number of channel subscribers, which was presumably due to a glitch on YouTube’s part, several times after the release of each talent’s YouTube channel. In light of these factors, we would have thought that the project had gotten off to a good start.
The future journey of hololive DEV_IS “ReGLOSS” will be the focus of attention.
