ISEGYE IDOL is a virtual idol group from Korea, starting their activities in December 2021. The 6 members are GOSEGU, INE, lilpa, JINGBURGER, VIichan, and JURURU.
This is the first time since we began compiling our data that a Korean VTuber agencies and groups has risen to world’s No.4 in terms of YouTube average subscribers.
The direct reason for ISEGYE IDOL’s rise to world’s No.4 in terms of average subscribers is the relative impact of the contract termination of Selen Tatsuki of NIJISANJI EN (New), a VTuber group from ANYCOLOR Inc.’s NIJISANJI Project.
On the other hand, ISEGYE IDOL’s talents continued to grow at a high rate, and even if there was no lack of talent in the NIJISANJI Project, the possibility emerged that the average subscribers would surpass this number around mid-February.
In Korea, local music labels have been making inroads into the VTuber industry, and ISEGYE IDOL’s record shows that VTuber talents and agency groups from Korea are continuing to make great strides.
