On February 26, 2024 at 2:00 (PST), Nikkei Shimbun Published an Article Reporting that Nintendo will Release a New Game Console, the Successor to Nintendo Switch, in March 2025.

According to a report in the Nikkei Shimbun, the successor, like the Nintendo Switch, is expected to have both stationary and portable features, and will be a game console with a larger screen display than the Switch’s 6.2-inch screen. Although many in the industry expected a 2024 launch, the company stated that it prioritized securing initial inventory of the successor console and an assortment of leading software titles at the time of launch due to resale prevention measures and other factors.
