TV TOKYO Corporation and Digital Entertainment Asset Pte. Ltd. (DEA), a Singapore-based operator of NFT gaming platforms, have announced the development of a new AI VTuber character utilizing ChatGPT and NFT (non-replaceable tokens).
This is the first such initiative for a TV station, and the service will be launched this summer with the aim of global expansion.
The “Ishitohoshi (StoneStars) Project powered by GPT-4” aims to create “Stars” from “Gemstones”. The project aims to create “Stars” from “Gemstones” and has developed 7 AIVTubers with various personalities based on the themes of “Minerals” and “Stars”. Users can acquire producer rights by purchasing “Producer NFT (*)” and can create their own personalities and profiles of AI VTubers using ChatGPT on a special page. In addition, the company plans to link this service with terrestrial TV programs in the future.
*The “Producer NFT” is an NFT issued by DEA and can be used as an item (and redeemed for cash) in the game “JobTribes” on the company’s NFT game platform “PlayMining”.
