On January 30, 2024 (PST), Illustrator Kamameshi Gogomaru Published a Post (Tweet) Expressing their Concern about the Current Situation of VTuber Selen Tatsuki (affiliation: NIJISANJI EN (New)), for whom they are in Charge of Character Design and who has been Out of Touch.
Selen Tatsuki has not updated her official YouTube channel or X (Twitter) account since her accidental hospitalization at the end of 2023 and her December 30 post (tweet). And Selen Tatsuki’s affiliated group NIJISANJI EN (New) and ANYCOLOR Inc. which operates the group have made no mention of her for a little over a month, until as of January 29.
In response, Kamameshi Gogomaru asked, “No updates at all for a whole month, is Selen safe?” and published the post, also mentioned that the music video of “Last cup of coffee” has been made private by the management, saying, “I hope the rights of “Last cup of coffee” will be confirmed soon“.
The #WhereIsSelen hashtag has become a growing movement among VTuber listeners and fans, as people are becoming more and more concerned about Selen Tatsuki’s current situation. This movement has also been joined by famous professional gamers such as rpr.
