“Pecola” is a craft cola syrup produced by U Products, a natural syrup studio in Nabari City, Mie Prefecture, under the supervision of Usada Pekora, and has been available for pre-order since August 7.
This time, some X (Twitter) posters have been asking about the product, misinterpreting it as ordinary cola rather than diluted cola syrup, and claiming that the price is too high and asking “Is there co*aine in it?” “Do you put co*aine in it?” In addition, it was confirmed that the posters had maliciously posted, “I’m an employee of our collaborator. Actually, I did put in it. I had to do this or else I would have been severely scolded by the executive of hololive”.
And now ICREA has announced that it has reached a settlement with several individuals who posted defamatory statements about the product.

(hereafter referred to as “the Company”) is pleased to announce that it has reached settlements with several people who wrote defamatory posts on social networking sites (hereafter referred to as “the Subjects”) regarding the Company’s product, Usada Pecola’s original craft cola syrup “Pecola”.
In response to the posts, we have been considering legal action against the Targets, including a claim for damages, in cooperation with COVER Corporation, which manages Usada Pecola’s agency, and Products LLC, the manufacturer of the product.
However, we requested that the subject apologize in person at our office and pay compensation for damages, and since the subject (including his guardian) agreed to this request, we concluded a settlement with the subject, deeming him to have expressed remorse for his actions.
We will take prompt and strict measures in cooperation with related companies to deal with any future similar defamation of our products, our partner companies, and their celebrities.
