VTuber Usui Clear became a PR Character for the 6th Space Development and Utilization Awards by Cabinet Office of Japan

Minister of State for Special Missions Takaichi Sanae Announced at a Press Conference on October 12, 2023 (PST) that VTuber Usui Clear (Independent) has been Appointed PR Character for the 6th Space Development and Utilization Awards Sponsored by Cabinet Office.

The Space Development and Utilization Awards recognizes outstanding contributions to the promotion of space development and utilization. This year, 6th edition of the award will be open for submissions from October 13~17 (JST).

At a press conference on October 13, Minister Takaichi introduced Usui Clear as the PR character for the award. She announced a tie-up with Usui Clear for the use of the character on posters to publicize the competition.

Usui Clear is a rocketry idol VTuber and personal celebrity. She provides live commentary on rocket launches around the world and is a supporter of Japan’s next major rocket “H3”. She has also appeared on the terrestrial TV program “Project V (Nippon TV)”.
