Illustrator / manga artist Shigure Ui designed characters for Oozora Subaru, a talent affiliated with COVER Corporation’s VTuber group hololive (now hololive Productions’ Japanese domestic female group “hololive”) in August 2018.While making guest appearances on the talent’s streaming, she made her debut as a VTuber on May 18, 2019, in response to the talent’s request to “See Mother in Motion!“
On May 18, 2023, he celebrated the 4th anniversary of her debut as a VTuber. She is affectionately known as “Uimama (Oozora Subaru’s mother)” by her listeners and fans.
Shigure Ui’s subscribers base was in the low 800K as as of early September, but after the response to the music video for her original song “Shikusei!
