Thank you to everyone who has seen our first post and is interested in IRIAM release in U.S.!🌟

For those who want to know more, let’s briefly explore what IRIAM is.

It is an app specifically tailored for virtual streaming, available on both iPhone and Android. 📲

Launched 5 years ago, at a time when the term ‘Vtuber’ was barely known, IRIAM started from humble beginnings and built everything from scratch.

Today in Japan, IRIAM is the first service that comes to mind for those wanting to become Vtubers, thanks largely to our amazing streamers and viewers!

Every day, people from all walks of life embark on their virtual communication journeys using IRIAM.⛵

While there are many streaming apps available now, IRIAM stands out for its design focused on fostering streamer-viewers community engagement. 👪
This focus on community engagement has been central to our philosophy since the beginning.

When you first see IRIAM’s streaming interface, you might think it’s ‘too simple.’

Yes. It doesn’t display games or videos in streaming.

This simplicity is intentional, enabling streamers and viewers to focus solely on their interactions here and now.

(Actually, we have developed some complex features  for the streamer-viewer community in IRIAM JP — we plan to adapt and introduce these to the U.S. gradually, just like we built the app step-by-step with our users in Japan.
We believe in creating IRIAM US together with you!🗽)

One of IRIAM’s clear selling points is its low latency, which significantly enhances the quality of communication.

Consider the awkward pauses you’ve experienced during remote meetings; lag can significantly change communication dynamics and profoundly affect the streamer-viewers community.

This aspect is crucial to us.

In IRIAM, streaming🗣️, comments💬, and gifting🎁 are fine-tuned to minimize lag. This is made possible by our pioneering technology, called ‘Motion Live technology’.

We’re also planning a variety “in-app events” in IRIAM.

It’s hard to sum up what these involve in just a few words… but essentially, they are temporary events that streamers can freely choose to participate in, featuring an extensive variety of prizes, and usually lasting about a week.

The formats for these events vary, involving aspects like the number of gifts received from viewers, random elements, or the duration of  viewing, among others.

In Japan, we now host dozens of events every month, and it’s a delightful common practice for streamers and viewers to collaboratively ‘strategize’ about which events will best enhance their community.💬🗨️

We anticipate hosting fewer events immediately following our fall release, as there will initially be fewer streamers.
However, we plan to gradually expand our offerings to cater to a wide range of interests!✨

Thank you for reading this lengthy introduction❣

As this is our inaugural introduction of IRIAM to the U.S. audience —a moment we’ve eagerly anticipated—I might have gotten a bit carried away with this post…🖊️

There’s still so much more to share, and we’ll continue to do so gradually as we approach our fall launch.

We’re excited to start this journey with you!

IRIAM is a VTuber / Virtual Liver stream app launched in October 2018 by ZIZAI Inc. and transitioned to a subsidiary of DeNA in 2021.

It is a well-established service that has operated as a Liver-type platform since the dawn of the VTuber industry, and is a Japanese service that has continued to develop in its own unique way, different from YouTube and other services.

IRIAM’s entry into the U.S. opens the door for the application’s international expansion, as well as the possibility of competing with emerging platforms such as AniLive, where VTuber agency NEXAS debuted 27 new talents in 3 days.

The launch of IRIAM in the U.S. will be closely watched, as it has promoted the Japanese VTuber industry in a style different from VTuber stream on YouTube.
